Depression: Nature, assessment and treatment using behavioural activation (Part 2)
This is the second in a two-part Continuing Professional Development article on behavioural activation as a relatively new treatment intervention for depression. Part 1 examined the nature and assessment of depression; reviewed the evidence for psychosocial and medical interventions; explored the stengths and limitations of current psychological interventions taking into account their efficacy, costs and training requirements; and summarised the main behavioural theories of depression.
