About us
In October 2025, RCN Council approved for RCNi to integrate with the RCN, changing the structure of the RCN Group. We are led by our vision to be the voice and trusted leader for the advancement of nursing. As one organisation, we will be better together – uniting our resources, expertise and people. More updates will follow throughout 2026. Find out more: Our structure | Royal College of Nursing
RCNi is a lifelong learning partner for nurses, nursing students, nursing support workers and healthcare staff. We publish continuing professional development (CPD) material, hold events for nurses and guide them through the NMC's revalidation process with our RCNi Portfolio.
RCNi publishes ten nursing journals with information for nurses and healthcare professionals on the latest developments affecting nursing and healthcare, including changes in policy, practice and research. We publish evidence-based peer-reviewed clinical articles and CPD articles, in addition to daily news, analysis, features, careers, opinion, and NS Student.

We also offer a range of digital tools to help nurses with their CPD and revalidation requirements, including RCNi Learning, an interactive online resource of CPD training modules, and the RCNi Portfolio, which guides nurses through the revalidation process and the evidence they need to log every three years for the NMC.
We help to develop careers and enhance practice with events such as the popular Nursing and Careers Jobs Fair, Nursing Live, free CPD webinars, and the nurse recruitment website, RCNi Nursing Jobs.
