Nursing’s rising stars: how a new generation is making its mark

Six nurses aged under 35 who are already making their mark in their particular fields of practice talk to RCNi about their love of nursing, what their roles entail and how they aim to shape the future of the profession. The nurses are an innovator in nurse-led management of headache, an ambassador for the profession who has the ears of policymakers, an organ donation specialist who supports families at a time of crisis, a head and neck specialist who champions nurse research, a  substance misuse nurse, and a practice educator who has helped others overcome the learning barriers and self-doubt he has faced himself.
